Yesterday was the deadline for the Chinese Open Qualifiers registrations for the upcoming Kuala Lumpur Major and after all the teams that haven’t received an invite for the closed regionals signed up for opens, a couple of rosters have been leaked.

After witnessing the other day an ugly war waged on social media between LGD and their player Du “Monet” Peng, who wished to terminate his contract with the organizations at all costs, probably the most anticipated roster to be revealed now is the one Royal Never Give Up (RNG) have in mind for their Dota 2 team. The giant LoL organization did sign up for the Kuala Lumpur Dota 2 Major open qualifiers and if the leaks are to be trusted it seems like in the end they got both Monet and Tue “ah fu” Soon Chuan from LFY and they even have the former Fnatic and compLexity player and coach Adam Shah “343” bin Akhtar Hussein. However, it is unclear if 343 will take the coaching position or if he will be actively playing as RNG signed up with six players, in fact, one of them being the Chinese veteran Toh “xy-” Wai Hong.

Xy-’s last team that he played for was Team Faceless in the 2016-2017 season. Prior to that, Xy- ?was at TI1 where he placed third with Scythe Gaming and at TI2, also playing next to iceiceice, at Team Zenith.

  RNG leaked roster:

  ?– Du “Monet” Peng

  ?– Gao “Setsu” Zhenxiong

  ?– Sun “Srf” Runfa

?– Tue “ah fu” Soon Chuan

?– Adam Shah “343” bin Akhtar Hussein

  ?– Toh “xy-” Wai Hong

Another team who is yet to reveal its final line-up for the upcoming Dota Pro Circuit is Invictus Gaming. ?IG registered for the Kuala Lumpur Major open qualifiers with seven players, three of them coming from iG.Vitality, with the rest being from smaller Chinese teams such Eclipse, Te-Life and Echo Gaming. Interestingly enough, IG don’t seem to have retained any of their players from The International 2018 roster.

  Invictus Gaming leaked roster:

  ?– Zhou “Half” Yi

  ?– Wang “God7” Zhenzhou

  ?– Yang “InJuly” Xiaodong

  – Ru “骑牛的”Zhihao

  ?– Zheng “ghost” Jie

  ?– Chan “Oli” Chon Kien

  ?– Gao “dogf1ghts” Tianpeng

CDEC Gaming might start the new season with a full new roster as well. The 2016-2017 DPC season was extremely bad for them. So, a full restructuring of the team should not come as a surprise. The leaked roster of CDEC feature the 2016 LGD offlaner, Xue “September” Zhichuan, who couldn’t make it to TI6 due to visa issues.

  CDEC Gaming leaked roster:

  ?– Su “Flyby” Lei

  ?– Guo “xm” Hongcheng

  ?– Shen “Newbie” Chao

  ?– Zhou “Shaker” Shengchao

  ?– Xiao “demons” Zuoyi

The Kuala Lumpur Major Chinese open qualifiers will commence in less than 24 hours. There are 38 teams registered in the completion, but only four will make it into the closed regional qualifiers where Team Serenity, Vici Gaming, PSG.LGD Gaming and Newbee were directly invited.
